Leah Segura, BSW

I live in Midland, Michigan with my husband, dog and three of the smartest, most beautiful children in the world. :)  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, blogging, chatting on the Internet, cooking, and gardening.  I have been a La Leche League leader for the past six years.  In the past, I worked as a child care provider for twin infants.  I also interned with Early Head Start, and have focused my studies on infant mental health and early child development. Even before I had my own children, I had a passion for working with mothers and their babies.  I love learning and reading about pregnancy, birth, and the early years of a child’s life.  I desire to use my knowledge and experience to help fill the gap in our maternity care system and help mothers establish a rewarding, confident relationship with their infants.  I am honored to provide a gentle, nurturing approach to mothers and their families during the postpartum period.
