By choosing the care of a postpartum doula, you are making an investment in your family. Having supportive, hands-on and professional care far outweighs the value of the expensive, numerous, and frequently unnecessary baby products that are available.  I believe that every mother deserves to have the support of a postpartum doula.  Although I cannot work for free, I am willing to negotiate with families in demonstrated financial distress. 

Some mothers help offset costs by requesting that friends and family give the gift of postpartum care.  Gift certificates are available in any amount.  Doula services are often covered by flexible spending accounts and may also be reimbursed by health insurance companies.  Payment plans are available and I am also open to bartering/trading for my services.

Postpartum doula services are scheduled for a minimum of three hours a day.  Care can range from a few days to several months.  The time of day, the hours of care, and the services I perform may be tailored to your family’s specific needs.

Typical fees for a postpartum doula run between $20 and $35 an hour.  Please contact me for current rates. Clients are required to sign a contract and make an $80 deposit to reserve services.  This deposit will be applied to payment for hours worked.  Payment for additional hours is expected at the end of each week.

I provide FREE 24 hour phone and email support for all contractual clients.
